Governor Signs Autism Bill

In light of Georgia’s recent passage of Ava’s Law, ASCEND Pediatric Neurology would like to reiterate our commitment to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders.
The passage of Ava’s law in Georgia requires state regulated health plans to provide coverage of the diagnosis and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders. Our physicians have extensive experience with these issues. Dr. Schub was formerly the director of medical services at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta and has over 30 years of experience in the evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders. Our entire staff works closely with other therapists in the community to ensure quality services for our patients with autistic spectrum disorders.
Please feel free to contact our office regarding Ava’s Law or an evaluation for autistic spectrum disorder. Also, please visit the links below for further information about Ava’s Law and autistic spectrum disorders.
